Human Resource Management at the Department of Labour

Tasks

Responsible for HR operational delivery, covering employment relations, change management and performance management support to the Department, we seek a seasoned professional with contemporary HR skills and the energy and expertise required to help drive the operational HR function to deliver a quality customer experience.
You’ll lead the new HR Operations team of seven (based in Wellington and Auckland) and your strong operational experience in a wide range of generalist activities will see you deliver core HR and ER processes, policies and strategies as well as continuous improvement to our HR systems.

These roles, reporting to the Director HR, are key parts of the HR Management team and offer a variety of challenges as well as the opportunity to provide positive change and influence.

Qualification
So if you have a strong generalist HR knowledge base, including significant expertise in ER, have operated at a senior level and you’re capable of a solid strategic contribution to HR and its input to the Department priorities and goals, then we would love to talk further.
