Tasks

We are currently seeking a full time Settlements Clerk or Part Time Settlements Clerk to work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday at our Belmont Office. This exciting and challenging role will see you managing your own portfolio of Home Burglary & Theft Claims, working closely with the Office Manager and Investigations Team.
This position is ideal for job sharing.
Your primary role will be to process home burglary and theft settlements from start to finish. Other roles include general office duties, such as answering telephones, mailing, filing, receiving and lodgement of new files.

You will have a polite, confident and professional attitude, as this role will require you to be in constant contact with claims staff from various Insurance Companies, as well as their policy holders and preferred suppliers.

Qualification
* Previous Home & Contents Claims Experience
* An ability to focus on providing our clients with an exceptional level of personalised service
* Excellent organisational & communication skills
* Strong decision making ability
* High level of typing accuracy
* Excellent analytical skills
