Health Promotion Practitioner, ARPHS Dietitians, Heartbeat Challenge

You will work with a portfolio of public and private sector organisations in the Auckland region, supporting them towards healthier workplace policies and practices. On any given day you might be;

• Presenting a workplace health proposal to a senior management team
• Working with cafeteria staff and ARPHS Dietitians to improve employee nutrition choices
• Supporting the development of workplace smokefree policy
• Liaising with local heath providers to ensure your workplaces have access to their services and expertise
• Assessing a workplace against the Heartbeat Challenge™ criteria and presenting an award if key health improvements have been made
• Working collaboratively with the ARPHS workplace health Project Manager and the wider Health Outcomes Team
