Head of Department, Mathematics, Brisbane

* To oversee and provide strategic academic and subject specific support to the teachers of the mathematics department;
* To assist the Directors of International, Senior and Middle Schools and in engaging in transformational activities in pedagogy and aligning curriculum with the Strategic Plan of the School;
* To supervise and lead the teachers in the Mathematics department in the implementation and integration of Information and Communication Technologies applicable to the subject of mathematics;
* To oversee all aspects of authentic learning in mathematics within an Anglican framework;

The Head of Mathematics is a middle manager who will work as a team player in the academic development of the mathematics department.

The Head of Department will support the Director of Middle School and the Director of Senior School with the latest educational research in mathematics to realise the School's vision and key educational objectives.
