Graduate Mechatronic Engineer, Industrial Projects, Manufacturing Projects

The focus of the role will be to provide engineering support to a range of industrial/manufacturing projects and provide technical assistance to Maintenance Supervisors across the organisation with an emphasis on maximising safety, quality, cost reduction and production volume.

The position is generally one of carrying out investigating, scoping, costing and design overview of specific works projects as part of Midland Brick Company's (MBC) schedule of works, as directed by the Engineering Manager.

* be proficient in the operation of Microsoft Office applications
* have the ability to operate MS Project to create project plans
* have an understanding of budget preparating and estimating
* be an excellent communicator and be detailed orientated with the ability to mult-task
* have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience in the form of 12 weeks practical engineering in a manufacturing or mining environment would also be highly beneficial, but not essential.
