General Manager, Managing a motel/hotel, Managing reservations and back office

We currently have a newly created position available at our Rockhampton property, Tropical Wanderer Resort, a mid-sized motel and holiday park complex. Applicants for this position will be able to demonstrate a passion for the tourism industry, and have current or previous experience, knowledge and ability in the following:

* Managing a motel/hotel, or similar property
* Managing reservations and back office procedures in a centralised environment.
* Stock management
* Sales and marketing of property
* Managing, training and motivating staff at all levels
* Demonstrate effective leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Must be computer literate.
