Casual Community Welfare Teacher, AQTF, Training and Assessment

* Delivery and assessment of units of competence from the Community Welfare Work Training Package;
* Assess students enrolled in the qualification as per the Delivery and Assessment Plan developed by Carrick Institute of Education;
* Ensure compliance with AQTF requirements within job role;
* Preparation of session training plans, classes;
* Attendance at required team meetings and professional development activities;
* Comply with all relevant legislation and policies;
* Any other duties as required by the Course Coordinator or Head of Vocational Education and Training.

* Bachelor Degree in Social Work, or Psychology or Welfare (or equivalent), Demonstrated and extensive experience as a welfare / social worker,
* Membership or eligibility for membership for AIWCW or AASW,
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment,
* Demonstrated ability to work within a professional and ethical framework.
Preferred:
* Demonstrated knowledge and skills in introductory psychology, counselling and field placement in the community services industry.
* Prior experience teaching students from CALD backgrounds in a private RTO will be highly regarded.
