Business Intelligence Developer

The following attributes are required to be successful in this role

* Gather end user requirement and perform requirement/GAP analysis
* Design, development, implementation and support of enterprise BI solutions i.e. dashboard applications and OLAP capabilities
* Maintaining, enhancing and documenting existing BI solutions
* Promoting the BI data architecture and seeking enterprise opportunities for improvement
* Liaise with Users to resolve issues and problems
* Mentor and Knowledge Transfer to Support Team

Required skills

* Extensive experience in developing solutions within the Cognos Application Suite (Series 7 and preferably Cognos 8)
* Experience with Datawarehouse
* Experience with Oracle DB, PL/SQL, Dimensional Modeling
* Experience in gathering and analyzing User requirements
* Experience in facilitating End User Training
* Good communication skills both verbally and in written form
* Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and as a member of a Team
* Ability to quickly learn new software applications, think outside-of-the-box, and implement best-practices
