Tasks

Your primary function as a Helpdesk Support officer is the provision of Level 1 call resolution for all IT related enquiries. This includes assisting customers with the basic operation of the SOE (Microsoft suite of products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer), setting up and configuration of accounts for new and existing employees, and resetting passwords and locked accounts.
In addition, you will assist with the creation of Outlook profiles for employees, manage incoming correspondence using Mail Sweeper and finally basic configuration of RSA tokens, Blackberry Units and other peripheral items. Additional tasks may be added to your daily duties as you progress – this may include project rollouts, installation of printers and peripherals on client workstations.

Qualification
Technically, is it preferred that you have worked with a call logging system such as Heat / Remedy, and have hands on experience supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft applications. Exceptional customer service skills and a professional telephone manner are essential are a must!
