Assistant Venue Catering Manager, Venue Manager

Based at our Telstra Dome site we are seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Catering Manager to provide support to the Venue Manager in overseeing the daily operations of Telstra Dome. The role requires a proactive individual who has sound business acumen with extensive experience in revenue driven outcomes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, the ability to effectively train and motivate a team and ensure the team maintains the highest standards in customer service and product presentation. As part of the management team you will look for opportunities for business growth and market reputation while ensuring all compliance and statutory obligations are met.

Experience & Qualifications:
* Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to interpret profit and loss statements and implement actions to rectify outcomes.
* Ability to set clear expectations and follow-up staff on performance outcomes.
* Clearly understands the relationship between service and sales results.
* Excellent commercial judgment and decision making skills.
* Ability to utilise labour management as a key lever to effectively manage labour costs.
* Conversant with relevant federal and state legislation that has impact upon the food, beverage and catering industry and workplace environments.
* Ability to maintain consistently high standards of operations compliance.
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to drive the company “GuestPath” service program.
* Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Operations, Business Management or related discipline will be considered favorably.
* Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment – will be highly regarded
